Must possess a valid MT driver’s license. Occasional work in confined spaces. Performs general plant and equipment maintenance, cleaning and repair; records readings; collects samples; operates equipment.Water Plant Operator I: Must have the ability to obtain a Montana Class I Water Treatment Plant Operator’s Certificate within two years of employment; one year experience in water plant operations desirable. Will fill-in as Water Plant Operator II on occasion, requiring shift work.
Water Plant Operator II: Shift work; rotating days off. Requires a Montana Class I Water Treatment Plant Operator’s Certificate; three years of experience in water plant operations. Technical responsibility for performing the skilled operation of water pumping, purification and related equipment.

JLLA owns a private four well, four storage tank system that delivers water to 116 lots and homes. The WSO will report directly to the Board of Directors. Duties include, but may not be limited to: manage the water system, make repairs. coordinate actions of sub-contractors. take and submit water samples, assist with setting budgets, keep records and receipts, and submit timely reports including state and federal reports as required. Maintenance Worker/ Utility Operator PositionThe position will remain open until it is filled.The City of Colstrip is accepting applications for a Maintenance Worker and Utility Operator in the Public Works Department. Under general supervision, performs basic inspection and repair of mechanical parts, equipment. and systems in the maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities and infrastructure. In addition, as directed, will perform street maintenance and other Public Works Department duties and it is required to be on-call once every four weeks.
The
